History

The Lake County .NET Users' Group started in the Spring 2008, when Tim and Scott both had a desire to form a .NET Users' Group in Lake County, Illinois. Dave Bost and Larry Clarkin of Microsoft got them in touch with each other. Together, they found a venue at the College of Lake County, where John North and Dean Lourdene Huhra were instrumental in securing a location and time for the meetings. We started meeting in July 2008 and have met every month since then. The group continues to grow.

Location

Each event indicates the room, date, and location. In general, we meet on the last Thursday of the month. This changes in November and December when Thanksgiving and Christmas cause us to reschedule. We meet at the College of Lake County in Grayslake. We hope to see you there!
